Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1. General
Welcome to JDTailor ("the Service"). The Service provides an AI-based tool for tailoring a CV to a specific role: analysing a CV against a job posting, calculating a match score, and producing a rewritten version of the CV.
Operator details: Omer Dahan, email: jdtailor1@hotmail.com ("the Operator").
These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("the User") and the Operator. Registering for or using the Service constitutes full acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree — please refrain from using the Service.
2. Eligibility
Use of the Service is permitted for users aged 18 and over, or for minors with the consent of a guardian. By registering you declare that the information you provided is accurate and that the email address belongs to you.
3. User Account
- You must keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
- You must verify your email address in order to use the core features of the Service.
- We may suspend or block an account that breaches these terms or misuses the Service.
4. The Service and Credits
- The Service operates on a credit system. A new account receives one free analysis (one credit). Further analyses require the purchase of a credit pack.
- One analysis consumes one credit. Refining an existing analysis does not consume an additional credit, subject to the limits of the Service.
- Credits are non-transferable, have no monetary value outside the Service, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- If you close your account, or if the account is suspended or blocked for breach of these terms, unused credits will expire and no refund will be given for them. Nothing in this clause limits the statutory right of cancellation, as set out in the Refund Policy.
5. Fair Use and User Undertakings
In using the Service you undertake:
- Not to upload content that is not yours or that you have no right to use.
- Not to attempt to circumvent technical limitations, security mechanisms, or rate limits.
- Not to make automated, resale, or abusive use of the Service.
- Not to upload offensive or unlawful content, or content that infringes the rights of a third party.
Securing your account (in addition to section 3):
- It is your responsibility to use a unique, strong password that is not used on other services.
- You must notify the Operator as soon as reasonably possible if you become aware of unauthorised use of your account.
- The Operator will not be liable for damage resulting from exposure of your login details, from use of an insecure device or network, or from third-party access to your account using your credentials.
The information you choose to upload:
- A CV may contain personal information, and at times sensitive information. You choose what information to upload to the Service.
- We recommend not including in your CV information that is not required for the role — including national ID number, bank or credit card details, medical information, or other sensitive personal information.
- Where a CV includes details of third parties (such as referees), it is your responsibility to ensure you are permitted to provide them.
Declaration of accuracy:
- You declare that the information you upload to the Service is true, accurate, and reflects your actual experience and skills.
- The Service phrases, organises and emphasises information you provided — it does not invent experience, education or skills you did not provide.
- It is your sole responsibility to verify, before sending a CV to an employer or any third party, that everything in it is accurate and not misleading.
- The Operator will not be liable to you or to any third party for misrepresentation, inaccuracy or deception in a CV you sent.
6. Content, Ownership and Intellectual Property
- Your content: the CVs and content you upload remain yours. You grant the Operator a limited licence to use that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
- The output: the rewritten CVs the Service produces are intended for your personal use.
- The Service: all rights in the Service itself — the code, the design, the logo and the name JDTailor — belong to the Operator.
7. Nature of the Service and Limitation of Liability
- The Service is an assistive tool for improving and tailoring CVs. It is AI-based, and its outputs are recommendations only.
- The Operator does not undertake and is not responsible for any employment outcome — including being hired, being invited to an interview, or receiving a response from recruiters. Use of the Service is no guarantee of being accepted for any role.
- It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of the content produced before sending it. The Service is designed to avoid fabricating information, but errors or inaccuracies are possible — final responsibility for the content of your CV rests with you alone.
- The Service is provided "AS IS" and as available, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for indirect, consequential or special damage arising from use of the Service. In any event, the Operator's liability will not exceed the amount you actually paid in the three months preceding the event.
- Information security: the Operator takes reasonable and accepted security measures to protect information, as set out in the Privacy Policy. However, absolute protection against breach, unauthorised access or cyber attack does not exist and cannot exist. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for damage resulting from a security incident that occurred despite reasonable measures having been taken, including an incident originating with an infrastructure provider or third party listed in the Privacy Policy.
- Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be contracted out of under law, and nothing in it exempts liability for damage caused wilfully or by gross negligence. In particular, nothing in it limits the Operator's obligations as a database holder under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (חוק הגנת הפרטיות, התשמ"א-1981) and the regulations made under it, including the obligation to report a security incident.
8. Indemnity
You undertake to indemnify and compensate the Operator for any claim, demand, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these terms; (b) the content you uploaded to the Service or the use you made of its outputs; (c) infringement of a third party's rights; or (d) your unlawful or unauthorised use of the Service.
9. Force Majeure
The Operator will not be liable for delay or failure in performing its obligations as a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: failures in infrastructure or third-party services (hosting, payment processing, AI providers), power or communications outages, cyber attacks, war or state of emergency, natural disaster, or legislative change.
10. Availability of the Service
We aim for continuous availability but do not undertake to provide it. The Service may be taken down for maintenance, updates, or for reasons beyond our control. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time.
Permanent discontinuation of the Service: should the Operator intend to discontinue the Service permanently, notice will be published in the Service and sent to users' email addresses, where possible 30 days in advance. From the date of that notice, sales of new credits will cease, and during the period until discontinuation you will be able to use the full balance of credits you hold. Credits not used by the discontinuation date will expire. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot be contracted out of under law.
11. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
The terms of purchase, cancellation and refund are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be published in the Service. Continued use after an update constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
13. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be read as narrowly as required to make it valid, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator with respect to the Service, and supersede any prior agreement or representation.
14. Accessibility Statement
We attach great importance to making the Service accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, and work to align it with the principles of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to a Service), 5773-2013 (תקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע"ג-2013), and with Israeli Standard SI 5568 (WCAG 2.0) at level AA.
To that end we have implemented, among other things:
- Support for full keyboard navigation, and a "skip to content" link.
- Semantic structure and landmark regions to support screen readers.
- Correct language marking and text direction across the Service.
- Support for the system preference for reduced motion.
- A dedicated accessibility menu offering: larger text, high contrast, link highlighting, a readable font, and reduced motion.
Making the Service accessible is an ongoing process, and some parts of it may not yet be fully accessible — we continue to improve and correct. If you encounter an accessibility problem or have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us at jdtailor1@hotmail.com and we will address it promptly.
Accessibility statement last updated: 21 July 2026.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute lies with the competent courts of the State of Israel.
