1. General

This privacy policy explains how JDTailor ("the Service", "we") collects, uses, stores and shares personal information belonging to users of the Service ("you", "the User").

The Service is operated by Omer Dahan, who can be contacted at: jdtailor1@hotmail.com.

Using the Service constitutes agreement to this privacy policy.

2. What Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Account details: email address, name (optional), and password (stored only in hashed form — we never see your password).
• Content you upload: CV files (PDF / DOCX), the text extracted from them, and the job descriptions you paste in for analysis.
• Payment details: if you make a purchase, payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider (see section 5). We do not store credit card details on our servers.

Information collected automatically:

• Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention) and basic usage data.

3. Cookies

The Service uses essential cookies only, needed for basic operation — primarily to keep you signed in (session cookie). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from working properly.

4. CVs and Sensitive Personal Information

A CV may contain personal information, and at times sensitive information. We treat it accordingly:

• The content you upload is used solely to provide the Service to you — analysis, comparison against a job description, and rewriting your CV.
• We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising.
• Model training: the content you upload is not used to train artificial intelligence models. It is sent to the processing provider (see section 5) solely to produce your result.

5. Sharing Information with Third Parties (Subprocessors)

To provide the Service we rely on infrastructure and third-party providers. Relevant information may be transferred to them for the operation of the Service only:

We do not share your information with anyone else, except where required by law or court order.

6. Transfers of Information Outside Israel

Some of the subprocessors listed in section 5 store or process information on servers outside Israel, including in the United States. By using the Service you consent to your information being transferred outside Israel for the purpose of providing the Service. We work to ensure such transfers comply with the Protection of Privacy Law and the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Transfer of Information to Databases Abroad), 5761-2001 (תקנות הגנת הפרטיות (העברת מידע אל מאגרי מידע שמחוץ לגבולות המדינה), התשס"א-2001).

7. How We Use Information

• To provide the Service: to analyse a CV against a job description, calculate a match score, and produce a rewritten version.
• To manage your account, including email verification and password reset.
• To process purchases and manage credit balances.
• To secure the Service and prevent abuse.
• To contact you about your account or the Service.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your information for as long as your account is active.
• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account deletes your CVs, your analyses, and information relating to you from the system.
• Certain information may be retained for a limited period to comply with legal requirements (for example, transaction records for accounting and tax purposes).

9. Information Security and Security Incidents

We take reasonable measures to secure information, including: password hashing, encryption in transit (HTTPS), rate limiting, and access controls. That said, no security measure provides absolute protection, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information. In the event of a serious security incident affecting personal information, we will act in accordance with the reporting obligations that apply to us by law.

10. Your Rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law (חוק הגנת הפרטיות), you have the right to review the information held about you, to request its correction, and to request its deletion. For such requests, contact us at jdtailor1@hotmail.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be published in the Service. Continued use after an update constitutes agreement to the updated policy.
